Oktober 2020 - Vorbereitung der Workshops in den Fallstudiengebieten

October 2020 - Preparation of the workshops in the study areas

While the programming of the MARISCO software is progressing, the preparation of the workshops in the case study areas has started. However, due to the development of the Corona pandemic and the associated uncertainty whether personal workshops are possible, the preparation of the workshops in the case study areas has been somewhat delayed. Nevertheless, the planning of workshops in digital format is now starting, but personal workshops will not be offered until further notice, depending on the development of the corona pandemic.

A series of three consecutive workshops is planned in each case study area: FFH area Weesower Luch, FFH area Börnicke and FFH area Finowtal-Ragöser Fließ. With the help of the workshops, recommendations for water and area management will be provided for each of the three FFH areas. The first workshop will deal with the situation in the area and problems that arise and their causes. The second workshop contains solution strategies and measures. The third workshop is dedicated to operational planning and implementation.

The first workshop on the situation, problems and their causes will take place on the FFH area Weesower Luch. There, two previous projects have already held a series of consecutive workshops on the area, and in 2017 a conceptual model was compiled. This model is the basis for the first workshop (a simplified model is shown in the picture below). The result of the first workshop should be a revised conceptual model.
